Hello everyone, and welcome to Eye of Harmony. I’m Danny Stewart. Many of you have probably heard of me from somewhere. I seem to be fairly well known in certain Doctor Who circles, especially those relating to its theme and music. You also may know me from my previous web site, DannyStewart.com. Whatever has led you here, though, welcome.

First, some brief history. I’ve been running at least one web site since the turn of the millennium. In the beginning, that was a Star Trek RPG called Tetryon. Eventually, Tetryon closed down, and I started focusing more on my personal site, DannyStewart.com, which became a hub for my interests and a refuge for my friends from Tetryon. In recent months, however, I’ve begun an important shift in focus.

As I draw nearer to 21 years old, I’m beginning to get a feel for who I am and what I want to be doing with my life, and it isn’t what I always thought I’d be doing. Instead of fixing computers, which has been my focus for a long time, I’ve found that my real passion lies with music. It started with exploring the Doctor Who theme more than four years ago, and evolved into something a whole lot bigger. I recently had the opportunity to score two short films, and I’ve found it to be something that I really enjoy. I hope to be able to do more of it in the future.

Eye of Harmony is a brand new site that I set up so that I could refocus DannyStewart.com on the things that were important to me personally, like my music. For a long time, DannyStewart.com tried to be too much. It was more than I needed, and it was more than my audience wanted. Eye of Harmony is an attempt to rectify that. Now, DannyStewart.com can focus on what is important to me, while Eye of Harmony can be allowed to flourish as an independent site that will hopefully be of interest to many people, both inside and outside of the Doctor Who community.

So with that, I’d like to welcome you to Eye of Harmony. I hope you like what you see, and there will certainly be more coming in the near future. As Steve Jobs once said, “real artists ship.” This is certainly only version 1.0 of what I hope this site will become, but it is here, now, so I hope you will take advantage of what it has to offer, and help it grow into an invaluable site in the future. Thank you, and enjoy the site!

  • Thank you, James. I hope so too. Enjoy the site!
